September 6, 2024

The rule of 72 is a simple mathematical formula used to estimate the time it takes for an investment to double in value based on a fixed annual interest rate. It is calculated by dividing 72 by the interest rate. The rule of 72 is commonly used to illustrate the power of compound interest.
